Role within Microsoft
Vesa is part of the OneDrive and SharePoint Developer Platform team who are responsible for SharePoint Farm solution add-ins, SharePoint Framework, and all of the APIs. Their mission is to make sure people extend SharePoint in reliable ways.
Challenges
He explains that a big part of the Microsoft 365 transition was providing the SharePoint Framework and a lot of other extensibilities which people are using in their tenants. One of the key challenges, still, regardless of the changes in extensibility, is that you need to know and trust those extensions. This is where Rencore comes in.
