We often have the bittersweet moment when a colleague moves on. There is happiness for their new adventure, but a tiny bit of sadness that their contribution will be missed within the team. Luckily, we work in the Microsoft 365 space where business relationships last beyond our day-to-day job roles.
The Microsoft 365 community, in my opinion, is full of great people sharing their passion for creating better collaboration. When colleagues work together and move on to other things, that relationship stays, fondly bumping into each over and catching up at conferences, for example.
There’s that fond saying: it’s not “goodbye” but “see you later”, and that was the case with one long-term colleague and friend.
Therefore, I am delighted to welcome Michael Borell back to Rencore as Head of Sales. He has more than 12 years of experience in enterprise sales and technical operations support.
Before (re-)joining Rencore, Michael served as Chief Sales Officer for two other well-known companies in the Microsoft 365 space: Valo Intranet (April 2020 – March 2021) and Skybow (March 2021 – March 2022). In both roles, he was heading end customer and partner sales operations for the two industry greats.
Now, in his latest role at Rencore, Michael will be orchestrating both the global direct sales and channel sales efforts for Rencore’s latest tool Rencore Governance. Rencore’s customer centric approach resonates deeply with Michael, who will be in touch continuously with both end customers and partners to help them master their own and their clients’ Microsoft 365 governance challenges. I am very much looking forward to all the great things that are yet to come for our new team!
