Your company uses multiple AIs. Why do you only govern one (if at all)?

Rencore CEO Matthias Einig and VP of Product and Engineering Tiina Rytkönen show why governing Copilot alone leaves most of your AI out of sight, and walk through governance for Claude Enterprise (Preview) and ChatGPT Enterprise (Preview), joined to the Entra ID identities you already manage. Key takeaways

  1. Govern only Copilot and you govern a minority of your AI

Gartner research cited in the session finds that most organizations running Microsoft 365 Copilot also run at least two other enterprise AI assistants. A governance plan that stops at Copilot leaves the rest out of sight.

  2. Every assistant inherits the oversharing you already have

Claude and ChatGPT connect to SharePoint, OneDrive and Outlook, so stale permissions surface in every assistant, not just Copilot. Their audit logs are short-lived, and consumption pricing makes cost per person a governance question too.

  3. Entra ID ties every AI account to one person

Claude and ChatGPT accounts are matched to Entra ID through single sign-on, or by email address when there is none. A policy then flags, for example, a Claude seat still active for someone whose Entra ID account is already disabled.

The people behind Rencore's move beyond Microsoft

Matthias Einig
Matthias Einig Co-founder and CEO, Rencore

Matthias started Rencore after watching organizations adopt Microsoft 365, Power Platform and now Copilot and AI without a plan to govern them. He writes and speaks on where governance breaks in the age of AI.

Tiina Rytkönen
Tiina Rytkönen VP of Product and Engineering, Rencore

Tiina leads the teams building Rencore's governance platform for Microsoft 365, Copilot and AI agents, and its move into governing AI beyond Microsoft. She has led product and technology teams for more than 20 years.

Governance is actually the enabler for AI. When people work within those guardrails, they know they can use these AI assistants safely, without creating risk for the organization.

Frequently asked questions

What does this webinar cover?

Why most organizations already run more than one AI assistant, what that means for oversharing, audit and cost, and a live walkthrough of Rencore governance for Claude Enterprise (Preview) and ChatGPT Enterprise (Preview), joined to Entra ID.

Which AI providers does this cover?

Microsoft 365 Copilot is fully supported. Claude Enterprise and ChatGPT Enterprise are in Preview. Gemini and other providers are on the roadmap.

Does Rencore read our Claude or ChatGPT conversations?

No. Rencore reads metadata only: users, seats, projects, chats and who they are shared with, settings and costs. It never reads chat content, prompts or responses.

How does Rencore match AI accounts to our Entra ID users?

When the service signs in through Entra ID single sign-on, the match comes from that connection. Without single sign-on, accounts are matched by email address. Unmatched accounts are still inventoried and reported.

Does this make us compliant with the EU AI Act?

Not on its own, and Rencore is not a compliance tool. It supplies what audits under the EU AI Act, GDPR, NIS2 and DORA ask for: an up-to-date inventory, with ownership, access and lifecycle for every AI resource.

How do we get access to the Preview?

If you have the AI & Agents module, ask your customer success manager to switch it on. If you are not a customer yet, book a demo and we'll show you around.

Is there a cost to watch?

No, the recording is free to watch, with no form to fill in.

See every AI on your own tenant

The demo ran on a test tenant. We'll show you Claude Enterprise and ChatGPT Enterprise next to Copilot, joined to your own users.
