Wishing you a great start Tobias!

Today, we feel a tinge of sadness as we say goodbye to one of our longest-serving team members.

13-time Microsoft MVP Tobias Zimmergren will take on a new role outside of Rencore. He will continue his passion guiding people to connect the dots and build solutions across services in Azure.

Tobias has been with Torsten and I from the early days at Rencore. In 2015, we were able to acquire his services to help shape the future of our product offerings by adding his expertise in moving Rencore towards the cloud collaboration market.

Up until now, Tobias spearheaded our TechOps department making sure our strategy, planning, and implementations of anything technical and cloud operation related were watertight. He leaves us in safe hands with fellow long-serving team member Russel Dyas as Head of Technical Operations.

Not only has Tobias been an exemplary professional within our management team, but he has also been a key part of our company culture. We will miss his wit, willingness to share his wisdom with others, and sense of humor.

Long-standing colleague, good friend, and Head of Marketing, Matthias Seidel reminisces:

Tobi and I started at similar times at Rencore and have enjoyed over 7 years working together. Although we have differing views on pizza toppings, my coffee influence, and his fashion sense (red trousers) sparked the beginning of a splendid work relationship. Take care my friend. Until we meet again!“

Tobias will always be welcome to visit us at Rencore anytime, and we hope our paths will cross again at an event in the near future. Thank you from all of us here at Rencore. We will miss you, Tobias!
