We are delighted to announce the recruitment of Microsoft MVP and Microsoft Regional Director, Christian Buckley. Assisting our team as Director of Partner Management for North America, Christian will build on the continued success of Rencore’s global partner channel, bringing his vast expertise and experience as a collaboration, productivity, and digital marketing subject matter expert in the Microsoft 365 space.
Christian will collaborate with a talented partner team who are already building on the rapid success of Rencore’s European partner channel. His twenty-five-plus years in the technology sector include high-profile roles at Microsoft, Metalogix, and, most recently, AvePoint. Christian’s holistic business skills will help further strengthen Rencore’s position as the cloud collaboration governance leader.
Matthias Einig, Co-founder, and CEO at Rencore expresses his delight:
“We at Rencore are thrilled to welcome Christian whom I’ve known for many years. It’s truly exciting to have Christian onboard not only for his expertise which complements our business approach towards cloud collaboration governance, but equally important, he’s a fantastic guy who matches our team ethos.”
Selected by Microsoft as one of 200 of the world’s top technology visionaries, Christian has been a Microsoft Regional Director since April 2018, an unpaid advisory role to Microsoft leadership. Additionally, Christian’s community activities have earned him his MVP status 11 times with his first award coming in January 2012. Christian’s contributions to the MVP community focus on the M365 Apps and Services space.
Christian conveys his enthusiasm for the new role:
“As organizations increasingly rely on Microsoft 365 to drive their digital transformation, the topics of governance, security, and compliance are more important than ever, and as a result, demand for Rencore Governance continues to rise. I am excited to take on this partner management role and to work with North American partners and customers to help them address these critical challenges, and to help build out the Rencore brand as a leading solution for Microsoft 365 governance.”
Alongside Christian’s new role for Rencore, he is also the founder of CollabTalk LLC, an independent analyst and technical marketing services company based in Salt Lake City, Utah. He regularly speaks at events and conferences around the world and hosts the CollabTalk podcast and TweetJam.
