Common questions on connectors

What is a Rencore connector?
A Rencore connector is the link between Rencore Governance and one service in your tenant, such as Teams, SharePoint, Power BI or Claude Enterprise. Once a service is connected, Rencore inventories its objects and applies the same governance to them as to every other service: ownership, access, lifecycle, cost and compliance, from one control plane. Each service belongs to one of three modules: Digital Workplace, Apps, Automation and BI, or AI & Agents.
Which connectors are available today?
The Microsoft 365, Power Platform and Copilot services are available today. Claude Enterprise and ChatGPT Enterprise are in preview, both inside the AI & Agents module.
Do connectors replace Microsoft Purview or Entra?
No. Rencore complements and extends the Microsoft controls you already run, including Purview and Entra, and adds the layer they do not cover: one inventory, one set of policies and one lifecycle across every service, with the action to fix what the policies find.
