Pinch and a punch for the first day of the month – and also a little nudge – as today marks 8 months and 13 days until extended support ends for SharePoint 2010. Many organizations are migrating or planning to migrate as they head towards SharePoint 2010 end of life.
SharePoint 2010 workflows
For those of you who are on Microsoft 365, but are still running SharePoint 2010 workflows, it’s important to know that they will be retired completely:
- Starting August 1st, 2020, SharePoint 2010 workflows will be turned off for newly created tenants.
- Starting November 1st, 2020, Microsoft will begin to remove the ability to run or create SharePoint 2010 workflows from existing tenants.
The recommendation is to switch to Power Automate as soon as possible.
