Hello there! Well, the fourth quarter is underway as we power through to the business end of the year. It has been quite a ride so far, and we are certainly not finished yet! So, with that in mind, Let’s look at our new product updates.

In this month’s Rencore Governance feature roundup, we have added, by popular demand, Built-in Actions. Furthermore, you will find two new Azure AD properties and we have also added the opportunity to define a custom mail server using SendGrid!

Built-in Actions

Built-in actions is a feature that was added to our product roadmap by popular demand and we are glad to have shipped it for this feature roundup! We have collected the feedback sent in for the most common repeated actions, for example: Removing licenses for a user or Archiving a Team. Instead of going through the automation builder, you can trigger the actions directly in the DataGrid. Just click on the “Action” button on the left side and perform your required action quickly. Check out the full list of Buit-in actions available.

New Properties

Our two new properties added this month concern Azure AD. The first property helps support checks relating to Enterprise Applications and their ownership – specifically – the related email accounts attached. This update is particularly beneficial in tackling application sprawl.

The second property concerns the User Registration Credentials object that allows the implementation of Checks to discover admin roles without MFA enabled. This once again bolsters your security compliance efforts.

Custom Mail Server using SendGrid

Previously, when triggering email automation communication through Rencore Governance, the sender’s email address came from Rencore. Now using SendGrid, you can define a custom mail server. So, for example, you could add your own support email so that the notified individual or individuals can feedback easily on the actions taken.
