CoreView is an admin and drift-detection tool for Microsoft 365: configuration, drift, delegated administration and licences. It administers the tenant; it does not govern what lives in it. Rencore governs every workspace, app, flow and agent across Microsoft 365, Power Platform and Copilot, each with an owner, a policy and a lifecycle.
Verdict: Choose CoreView for tenant configuration backup and drift detection. Choose Rencore to govern the workspaces, apps, flows and agents inside one tenant or many, with delegated administration and owners who decide in Microsoft Teams.

CoreView does not inventory Copilot Studio or SharePoint agents, name their owners or retire them.
Rencore inventories Copilot and Copilot Studio agents, shows the data each one can reach, assigns an owner and retires what nobody uses.
CoreView does not govern Power Automate flows, Power BI or Fabric.
Rencore governs Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and Fabric next to the Teams and sites they depend on.
Virtual tenants delegate administration to local IT teams, and access reviews are a paid add-on.
Rencore routes recurring access reviews, lifecycle decisions and approvals to resource owners inside Microsoft Teams, with a record of each decision.
CoreView is strong at configuration backup, baselines and drift detection, and at licence reclamation. Those are real strengths.
If your priority is tenant administration and configuration control, CoreView is a serious option, and it can run alongside Rencore. If you need to govern the workspaces, apps, flows and agents in the tenant, with owners making the decisions, that is where Rencore fits.
Rencore Governance is developed in Germany by an independent vendor. Your workspace data is stored in the Azure region you choose, with Germany and Switzerland among the options, and Multi-Geo tenants are supported.
Rencore is certified to ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and ISO/IEC 27017 and holds a SOC 2 Type 2 report. The certificate and reports are in the Rencore Trust Center.
Royal BAM, with 20,000 employees, estimates it saves around €80k a year by freeing its IT admin team for the work that counts. Read the story.
Rencore governs 16 Microsoft connectors today, each in one inventory with an owner, a policy and a lifecycle. CoreView fully covers Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange Online and Entra ID, and covers Planner, Microsoft 365 Copilot and Power Apps in part. Only Rencore governs Viva Engage, Copilot Studio agents, SharePoint agents, Azure, Power Automate, Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
No. CoreView covers Copilot licences and usage and helps prepare a tenant for Copilot, but it does not inventory Copilot Studio or SharePoint agents or manage their lifecycle. Rencore inventories agents, shows the data each one can reach, assigns an owner and applies lifecycle policies.
Yes. CoreView manages tenant configuration and administration, and Rencore governs the resources in the tenant. Rencore connects through Microsoft Graph, so the two work side by side.
CoreView lists six Azure regions: North Europe, East US, East US (GCC), Canada East, Australia East and UK South. Rencore stores and processes each workspace's data in the Azure region the customer chooses. There are five regions, including Germany and Switzerland, and more can be opened on request.
Yes. Rencore extends its AI & Agents governance beyond Microsoft: Claude Enterprise and ChatGPT Enterprise are both in preview. They are governed in the same place as your Microsoft 365 estate and connected to the Microsoft 365 data they work with, rather than in a separate tool. Microsoft 365 and Copilot remain the generally available core of the platform.
Rencore Governance is SaaS, developed in Germany by an independent vendor. Each workspace's data is stored and processed in the Azure region the customer picks, one of five regions including Germany and Switzerland, and Multi-Geo tenants are supported. Rencore is priced by module, Digital Workplace, Apps, Automation and BI, and AI & Agents, so you pay for the scope you govern, and you can start with a 14-day free trial. Availability is contractual: 99.9% under the SaaS Agreement, with live service status at status.rencore.com.
