There was a lot of anticipation for the release of the next SharePoint server version two years ago, and towards the end of July 2018, Microsoft announced that SharePoint 2019 on premise was available to the general public.
With the inevitable march towards the cloud, many were wondering, and possibly still are, when the final hurrah, curtain call, or countdown will happen for SharePoint on-premise. Maybe one more final migration is on the cards?

For this latest SharePoint version, Microsoft has incorporated many of the UI features from SharePoint Online. They have also increased support for Power Apps and Power Automate to, among other things, help manage the move from the ever popular, but deprecating features, such as Microsoft InfoPath and SharePoint Designer.
What’s more, Microsoft has also focused their efforts on team collaboration and user experiences across devices, supporting the efforts of those embracing flexible working or the Modern Workplace.
