New Services: Yammer and Exchange

One of the many advantages of Rencore Governance is that it covers a wide range of Microsoft Cloud services. In fact, our mission is to offer governance for the complete Microsoft 365 stack and beyond.

Therefore, we are delighted to tell you that we have added Yammer and Exchange to our growing service portfolio in Rencore Governance alongside Microsoft 365 groups, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Azure AD, Power Automate, and Power Apps. That is already quite a list, but look out for even more services in the future as more use cases arise.

New Entities

Entities in Rencore Governance are the foundation for you to build out your library of checks and automations. You can think of an entity as a new topic that needs to be explored and provides an opportunity to allow your governance approach to flourish.

By clicking on Inventory overview, you can discover new entities relating to sensitivity labels, deleted users, Yammer groups, and Exchange.

Furthermore, you can also bolster your security efforts by utilizing the entity for User Registration Credentials to keep a handle on how users are managing Multi-Factor Authentication for their accounts.

And to top this off, we also have added more relations for SharePoint Sites, Flows and Power Apps:

New relations for SharePoint:

  • Site Owners
  • Site Members
  • Site Visitors
  • Admins

New relations for flow:

  • Flow Sharing

New relation for power apps:

  • Power Apps Owner
  • Power Apps Users

New Checks

With new services and entities comes a plethora of brand-new checks, so it is no surprise that we have the following for you this month:

  • Yammer groups without owner
  • Yammer groups with no messages
  • Inactive Yammer groups
  • B2B users – pending acceptance
  • SharePoint Extranet Sites
  • Teams with interactive external users
  • Users with message redirect rules
  • Power Platform users with Premium licenses
  • Stopped flows last week with errors
  • SharePoint files shared with inactive users
  • Global administrators without MFA
  • Power Apps without owners
  • Mailboxes with external redirect rules

Please share your opinion!

I have one final message for you today. If you are enjoying using Rencore Governance please, spread the word! You can do this by rating Rencore Governance on G2. It will only take one minute of your time.

Until next time, have a great day, happy governing and see you next month!
